Lt1 Bogs Down On Take Off
I Have A 71 Lt1 That Bogs Down When Trying To Take Off When On A Hill Or Slight Incline. It Acts Like A Vapor Lock Condition But I Dont Think Thats The Problen. This Car Is Stock With A 355 Rear Gear. 30 Years Ago I Had A Car Like This With A 370 Gear It Would Vapor Lock Sometimes But Not When Taking Off. I Checked The Accelator Pump And It Is Working Ok. Any Ideas Would Be Most Helpful Thanks Bop.

Could be a number of things, if you checked the pump and its ok I'd check for vacuum leaks next. After that I'd check the timing and the distributor (make sure it's advancing). You should be able to nail it down by then.
