New Weiand Warrior manifold - feedback for BBC?
Anyone using this manifold? I wonder if this one will fit under a stock BBC hood? Weiand says its a "low rise"! I hear the SBC guys like this piece.

I don't know for sure if it fits...but I know some of the guys at Holley/Weiand and I know they spent LOTS of time designing that intake line to have as equal A/F ratios to each individual cylinder as possible. Lot os computer modeling and engine dyno time. They were comparing against those *other guys* intakes and they were comfortable that they had done well.
Have you been able to dig up the measurements on it?

specs ..?
Jim,
I haven't gotten any specs; but it sounds like a nice intake. There just aren't many options for the stock hood. I was planning to send off a 427 alum intake to gessler or brenezski (spelling) for porting; but its alot of cash for something that is not all that great! I want to keep a somewhat stock appearance. I plan on sticking with the Q-jet.
Next month I am back to the US to check out some engine shops. Then its the process of getting the pieces together. When I heard about the new Weiand piece I figured I would ask if anyone has used one. I guess the next step is to phone up Weiand!
I got to get the car ready for my move back to Houston in a ~ 18 months.!
thanks
