Default Power window switches

OK- I'm not a wiring gal. I am moving my power window switches from a broken console to a custom dash. I want to cut the wires and re-splice them closer to the dash. There is a what looks like a square metal circuit breaker of some kind wrapped in the harness next to the power window wires but I don't think it goes to the power windows. Should I cut them after this thing or before it and get rid of it? Also, there are two wires that go from under the dash over to the kick panel on the passenger side then disappear inside the fender somewhere. I think they probably went to the now gone AC/heater. They are blue and brown. Any ideas?

that relay is probably your power window relay (don't cut that out)

Since the wiring runs over the trans tunnel anyway maybe think about a nice clean wrap-up of the excess harness using some zip ties so you can keep the original switches (which aren't bad looking)

Perfect - I don't know why I didn't think of that. Thats why I like this forum, sometimes I think so hard about a problem, I don't see the easy answer. Thanks
