Default two problems....please help...

ok well first problem is my brake system.....once i fill the resivor....it works for a bit....then my foot goes to the floor, then the brake light comes on.....and i pop the hood and theres very little fluid in the back resivor....and the front is still fine....i had the car up and seen no sign of leaks from the brake hoses in back....so what can cause this...? and where should i look and look for...im very lost on this one...?

and next question is my power steering valve is leaking....i know it cheap to rebuild...but i would like to go to a manual rack...what is all involved...what needs to be switched....do i need a manual sector...any new links?....im really not sure on this one either....

please help.....

Pull both rear wheels and check the bottom of the calipers for a leak. Check the steel brake line that runs the full length of the car for a pin hole leak, look for brake fluid- (duh- right). the only other place i can think of is the back of the master cylnder, where it bolts to the booster. lossen the nuts and pull it forward some, see if fluid comes out there, it should be completely dry behind the M/C.

btw, going manual really decreases the enjoyability of driveing, parking these cars.
