79 Rear Shock Mount Nut Size

Default 79 Rear Shock Mount Nut Size
I'm putting a new rear shock mount on my 79. Does anyone know what size threads are on the nut that holds the shock on? The new mount came with the nut to hold the mount on but not the nut that holds the shock on. I went to NAPA and they didn't have anything that would screw on to it.

A hardware store should be able to help you out. Grade 8 is good.

It apears to be a 14 x 1.25 and the search continues.
