Default Engine pad question

Please let me know what you think. Does this stamp on the pad look real. Car is a 1968 Convert, Automatic. 327ci 300hp
Block cast # 3914678
Pad VI204HQ, The second space is a letter I not a 1, I was told that it happens, please comment.
the vin # is on the pad and matches.
I believe the build date is 12/19/1967
block date code is L127
Rear end 1AV 12 12 67, what is the 1AV ? ratio ?
Please feel free to comment and any advise is welcome.

Hi, welcome. Two things...

First, that pic is very small. Can you enlarge it and re-post it?

Second, what question do you have about the pad?

I edited the first post and made the picture bigger.
The engine pad reads VI204HO, I think my first post has an error, I put Q not a O at the end.
Again thanks

It could easily be a good fake- or an original. Can't tell with a slightly blurry picture and a partially painted surface.

Clean it without using anything abrasive and post a clear picture of the entire pad. Try using the macro setting on the camera.

AV is the 3.08 Positraction, which was the required setup with the 300hp automatic.

Show the whole pad, including the VIN derivative. Cleaning the pad first would be good, too.
