condenser door?
Just looking for an explaination on this hinged door.. If you remove the resistor pack plug and then the two small bolts and pull out the resistor pack from the condenser housing and then look inside towards the firewall there is a door.... if I move the door one way it opens to a large duct runs parallel to the firewall towards driver side of engine if you move it the other way you can see an air filter.. I am assuming a cabin air filter...?
Time for my rookie question:
1. what does this door do when open to the filter?
2. what does it do when open to the ductwork?
I think it has to do with moving air from the blower through the condesor (HVAC) but I'm not sure which position mine should be in as I do not want any air coming through my cabin vents...
