Default brake caliper Install Question

Ok, I got my rotor run out set and I'm installing the Rebuilt O- ring calipers.
When I took the calipers out of the box and removed the foam spacers holding the pistons apart, I had to push pretty hard with my hand to make the pistons go back into the caliper on the fronts. The backs moved in much easier. Seems tighter than I would expect on the fronts? How much drag should i have on the fronts when installed on the rotor without fluid in it? I can spin the fronts by hand, but they stop as soon as I take my hand off of them. the pads are dragging.

I have the same concerns about how tight the pistons should be, I have 1 piston out of the four which is pretty hard to get inside when pushed by hand! .. I was thinking of honing the bore a little, but I fear losing the whole thing!

I know that when I assemble o-ring pistons in the caliper bores, I lube the o-ring with brake fluid. The pistons are normally very easy to move. On occasion, I miss one and it can have a surprising amount of drag. Once assembled and filled with fluid, they work fine though. It may well be as simple as that.

I had the same issue with mine. When the o ring is dry that will happen ,as soon as it gets wet it will be fime. There is supposed to be a slight drag on the pads, there designed to do that. That is what the spring in the caliper behind the pad is supposed to do.

The front pads seem to have a little more free space on the outer pads than the inner. Everything is new I was just wondering if the rotors are not centered good? If I moved the rotors out a little it seems that there would be a little more play on the inner pads.
