Coolant overflow tank
HI, My coolant overflow tank needs to be replaced.It looks like there is only 3 u-nuts holding it.It is hard to see because its under the fender and the ac stuff is in the way.Has any done this and what is involved or is it harder to do than it looks.Thanks Happy Holiday's to all >STW< Frank, :flag

I did mine on my 80 fairly easy but I cheated. It is only three bolt easy to access in the wheel well. I removed the A/C hose from the back of the compressor and moved it out of the way to get it out. (The system is empty). It's probably different for your year but I thought I'd try to help. lou

Frank,
You are correct there are three bolts that hold the tank to the fender. They are accessed from under the fender and the fastners are on the tank. I have a used tank that is a little yellow if you need one.

I took mine off this weekend. Very simple. There are only the three nuts to take off. Took me longer to get the tire off than the overflow tank.
