What would you lose by carting it down to a GOOD radiator shop so they can look at it? You'll never know until you have a pro look at it.

a good radiator shop? I'll have to send it away for that. Around here, you cannot put "good" in the same sentance as a shop that works on any portion of a car. :jester

I'll call around wednesday or thursday.

Now, now. I thought that N.C. was a stomping grounds for NASCAR guys and other stock car racer wannabes. Seems to me with all that talent in the general area you should find something.

On second thought, maybe it's the other state - S.C.

Daniel I have a Griffin aluminum radiator (31x19) and I can tell you from my own experience that with the new radiator the electric fans don't come on while I'm driving, even when on the highway at 3600-3700 rpm's . The fans come on mainly while sitting still. My motor isn't a bigblock, but it is putting out over 400 ponies.

If you want to stay with a stock unit, my original was working fine before I changed it. E-mail me & maybe we can work something out.
