Nope. First was a '67 VW Bug that I bought in 1970. I hot-rodded it all up with fender flares, weber carbs, fat tires, and headers.

In 1972 I bought a '67 Firebird Formula 400 for $800! Had that until 1976 when I bought a new 455 4sp TA....then an '82 TA and then a '87 IROC Z-28 350!

I'm affraid not, it was a 64 dodge with a slant six in it. I aways druled over vettes until about six years ago when I bought my 79L82. Still no real power but alot more than I've ever had in a car. :yesnod:

Nope. My first car was a tan 79 deisel Cutlass. I still have it but it is now a light grey, has a 455 in it, and 18" wide tires in the back. Not your father's oldsmobile anymore (12.0 @ 115 mph).

I didn't get my stingray until after I graduated college. It's a money pit, but I love it.

My first was a 1937 Ford Coupe. Fixed it and sold it before I was 16 so I never drove it. The first one I could drive was a 1967 Chevelle SS 396 that I had ready to go when I got my liscense.

I had an 80 MPH 1/10th scale electric dragster at age 14....does that count?

I used to race it on 1/10th scale 1/4th mile(132ft)...it ran 1.75 @ 80 MPH....

Its still sitting in my closet collecting dust....it got put away when I got the vette...I can only have one expencive toy at a time....and that little beast was about as expensive as the vette(It used 12 batters...and at $10-$12 a peice, and each 12 pack only lasting about 5 runs before they where "uncompetative" because of the high stress put on them, it got costly RCRacer may know what Im talking about, oh yah, motors ran $150, I replaced mine after 2 events)

Yep... But it looked like a green and white 55 Pontiac Chieftain. The nose glowed when you turned on the head lights. :D

1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. Black with white interior. Bucket seats, floor console, loads of room and a blast. People asked me about that car all the time. Funny because when I first got it I wasn`t really impressed. I wanted a 65 GTO. I now wish I had that car back so bad. It was really cool. Look it up on the internet.

In 1969 my first car was a beat '60 pontiac bonneville convertible with no reverse until warmed up.
2 years later I bought my first vette a rally red '67 SB vert which of course I wish I still owned.

YUP!

I worked for 4 years while driving my Mom's 92 Ford Aerostar so that I could have a "real car" for my first car. So, my '75 was my first car and I've loved every minute!
