Exhaust Panel
I converted to side exhaust (hookers!
) and now I have the original rear exhaust panels to replace...I'm shopping around and came across this note on the Corvette America catalog, "...if you wish to use these Exhaust Panels to convert a rear exhaust car to side exhaust, additional work on the Rear Quarter Panel is required." 
What exactly does this mean? Will the new replacement panel fill the rear exhaust voids? Do I need to do so fiberglass work myself still?

I guess I do have some work still - but it's better than filling up holes - I found a picture (Rik's catalog) of the rear exhaust panel with side exhaust and it shows wings to fill the old exhaust tip holes - looks encouraging!

This is what it looks like if you use the 69 side exhaust filler panel and do the fiberglass work on the quarter panels. The panel with 'wings' saves the work on the quarters. This is a 71 coupe.
