Paul,
My new valve was marked as Lone Star as well. You will have to balance it.
I installed mine on wednesday and got my car on the ground last night. The steering is way, way better and no leaks so far. I changed the hoses and ram as well.
The only issue is the steering will (hydraulic) lock to the left when I am hard over. looks like I have some research to do.
I do not know why they wanted $150.00 for shipping, they said it was the UPS costs and would only ship UPS.
UPS sucks.

OP, where did that $150.00 shipping come from? That's simply nonsense.
I will second suggestion for Lonestar Calipers also rebuilds the valves.
I tried a cheap rebuild kit, waste of time and money, it still leaked like a pig.
installed a rebuilt Assy. from Lone Star, perfect out of the box, no leaks and centered, with new hardware, and reasonable priced.
lonestar ftw, plus they actually supply alot of these little shops, just cut out the middle man
Well its weird. I got my new valve at Mid America for $179 a few months ago. I just looked again and it went up to $199 but its still a little cheaper than going direct.
