Zeroing my tach
I have replaced my tach board and done away with the tach filter which was causing the problem of the tach going south. Now I need to "zero" my tach since the lack of the filter is causing a high reading. Instructions say to apply 12 v to the tach, remove needle and set at zero. I assume this means that I can just turn the ignition on to supply power and then set the needle at zero. Just checking. What I think is obvious is not always so.
