Default Yet another carb question

Okay so I had my car running pretty good, but when warm it idled rough and wanted to stall. so being the genius I am I decided i could adjust the carb (dumb idea). Now, even though I put everything back to where it was, the car idles nice but has absolutely no power (at all). As soon as i touch the throttle the vacuum drops to like 2" or 3" and the carb sounds like it is taking in a hurricane of air. Anyone know what the H*ll I did?

Thanks in advance

Give us some more clues; meanwhile, check your fuel pressure and volume.

Found part of the problem. The universe aligned or something cause one of the metering rods was stick down. This had to have happened when i was adjusting the idle screws cause it was running fine before. Now i just have idle issues.

THIS IS THE CLASSIC REBUILD/BUY NEW SITUATION. PERIOD
HOW A METERING ROD GOT STUCK (BENT) HOWEVER NOT WHILE SCREWING UP THE IDLE MIXTURE SCREWS. POOR IDLE COULD BE VAC LEAK. HAPPY MOTORING. LYNN
