Mirrors
Was there a 2 mirror option for the 1968 model year? Many pictures of the 68s I have seen have one on the driver's side. Mine has two mirrors. How can I find out if mine is supposed to one or two. The car was taken apart, painted and put back back in the seventies. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Dual mirrors I don't believe came along as a factory option until the '77. They were called "Sport Mirrors" RPO D35.

Unless you have the original paper work, there is no way of knowing how the mirror got on the passenger door since it was a dealer installed option. Either a dealer put it on or someone else did. I wouldn't worry about it.
