A doubt that you'll will find a muffler shop that would touch this job. I believe there is a $25000 Federal fine for removing such items.
OP lives in the U.K. so U.S. federal laws are a bit diluted - to the OP, noone makes these items off the shelf that I am aware of - go to a local muffler shop or fabricate your own.

Missed his location. Thanks. Yeah, I guess the feds would have a tough time fining a shop in the UK. But it wouldn't surprise me if they had similar laws.
Catalytic converter "test" pipes were quite common a few years ago. A quick search did find some on ebay.
They were made to simply bolt in place of the cat.

Better hope Cheney doesn't read this forum! Actually, in New York, emmissions equipment is not checked or required if the car is 25 years old!!
