Default Idle speed
Does anyone know the correct idle speed for a 1969 Corvette 350 with 4 speed?

I believe 750 rpm and automatic is 600 rpm.

I see Chilton has 750 with no reference to tranny type.

I do have it for 427`s 4 speed and automatic with hydraulic lifter engines idle speed is 450-550. Solid lifter engines 750-850. I dont see where any difference would be necessary for 350 engines.

You're welcome. My manual says that there is a difference for big and small block as well as 3 and 4 speed. I had to mess with this stuff a while back.
