I recently purchase a 1982 CE and cannot find any reference in the GM manual as to what size intake valves were standard on this year car. I know for a fact that the engine and heads were never changed out and I am curious what the intake valve size is.
Also, has anybody used a factory 350hp. hydraulic cam in a crossfire and was there a significant improvement in performance? There had to be! And if you have, assuming you can keep your foot out of it, any major negatives on the mpg? I would like to keep everything under the hood retaining a stock appearance, but just want a little more giddy-up and go out of the car.
I appreciate any thoughts on these subjects. Drive safely!
