Default Valve covers

As you can see by my avatar, I have a C-2 (63). The engine is a 69 350. As a winter project, I want to adjust the lifters and while I'm at it, replace the valve covers with LT-1 covers. Most of the normal vette parts suppliers have them. Who offers the best product? I keep checking ebay, but I always seem to get outbid. I don't need them immediately. Jsut looking for some advise.

I looked for these for some time, then ended up purchasing off of E-bay. They needed some work, but I am happy with them after cleaning them up. They aren't cheap, and watch the freight charges.

The other option is to go to some swap meets, you might get lucky and find one, or possibly a pair that you can dicker with them on the price.

You might check out Paragon, too. Thier price is listed higher, but it depends just what price you can get them from GM for.
