502 ram jet with 4speed?

want the ram jet 502. getting the " big daddy " suspension kit from vette brakes, rebuilding the rear end. can my 4 speed " handle " this motor? 1970 vette.

Depends on the trans. When I installed my 502, I swapped out my m20 for a completely rebuilt M22 (all brand new internals, and a steel mid plate). Now I dont worry about it. It cost a few bucks, but was a direct bolt in and sounds real cool when you drive with that M22 gear whine

If you want to get the same trans then PM me and I will give you the info of the guy who builds them.

M22 will definately be what i am looking for. car just went in so i have a some time to get one built by a local shop. i live in edmonton, ab.

I'm guessing for you to hear your M-22 whine you have to turn the engine off?
