As a matter of routine maintenance I plan to install new spark plug wires in the near future. I have never been a fan of the GM, through the motor mount, under exhaust manifold routing.
My thought is to route the wires across the top of the valve covers and down to the plugs. That of course means dealing with the stock exhaust manifolds and the potential for wire burn. If anyone has done this successfully I would very much appreciate knowing what wire set was used and how burn is avoided. As well if anyone has used a set of looms to keep things tidy I would appreciate knowing what type as well.
