Power steering pump tilted
For a 75 but with a BB installed.
I have the pump is out our I'd post a pic. The pulley and pump pulley is out of top to bottom alignment with all other pulleys, crank, WP, Idler. All other pulleys align quite well. I can get either top or bottom of the p/s pulley to line up, but then the bottom or top of the pulley, respectively, is tilted vertically and wont line up. I am using a Corvette America #30908 BB p/s bracket.
I've loosened the mounting bolts on the pump and the mounting bracket trying to place the pump in a better orientation, and retightened, but I get the same result.
I am thinking of bending the P/S bracket to correct alignment but I hate to bend up a brand new bracket.
Any advice or tricks that you can think of before I start bending?

most of the BB brackets fit like crap, atleast the reproduction ones.
you may have to shim with a washer or 2 to get everything tweaked into alignment. I would refrain from bending, which might weaken the bracket. 69VETT
