I have a small leak in my front right brake and the fluid is running out onto my wheel  The result is of course small sections of clear coat comming off out of each slot hole :mad
Can I get the wheel recoated or would it be easier to remove all of the clear coat. How horrible is the upkeep of an uncoated wheel. Not a daily driver, it only sees rain if it not expected.(considering our weather forcasters I'm suprised it does'nt happen more often :jester )
I don't like clear coated aluminum anything, your wheels would probably require a minimum of effort to maintain with a product such as Mothers Mag and aluminum polish :smash:
Strip the wheel with lacquer thinner and then keep polished with a quality product such as Mother's. Only has to done once a month or so to keep the aluminum oxide from forming.
