Default Help with bolt size

Somehow I lost the lower AC mounting bolt on my 79. Does anyone have a spec for this bolt? One parts magazine I have claims that this is a metric bolt and wants nearly $10 for it! If I can determine the size I should be able to find this at the local bolt supply store. Thanks.

Pat,
I can't locate it in any of my books so far except in an old Dr. Rebuild
catalog. He calls it a metric bolt also and lists it at $8.65.If I find out it's
size I will let you know.

Why not just take the bracket to the bolt supply. That should give you both the length and thread requirements. Just get a high strength one. My book shows metric as well. I know for a fact that '81 caddy is metric.

One more try. Someone out there has an AC system (or whole car) apart and can answer this question.
