Need a timing light recommendation

I've got that same Craftsman timing light. It works (wroked) great, but I learned the hard way to watch how the induction reader is clamped by the #1 spark plug. It doesn't take long for the heat from the exhaust manifold to melt the plastic clamp. Mine still works, but it looks like something from a horror movie.
