and all that was done in about 4-5 hours.. didnt get any of the pass side, but the 1/4 is done on that side along with the rear.. not bad for a razor blade
i only painted the nose because i got it back in bare glass.. so i just shot some white on the fenders, hood and valance.. only cost me about 40 bucks to paint the nose.. cuz I have some nice hookups. now its time to paint the whole thing
Yes Its going Electron Blue, just like Pats.. only just a little different.. I'm going to start with a silver base to give the blue that extra oomph..
I used a razor blade to strip the rear of the car... it was easy on the laquer. the t-tops are gunna have to be stripped with a chemical stripper and the nose will be blocksanded with 180 grit.
And all wrinkly 1 dollar bills can be sent directly to me PO box 510 middletown CT 06457... j/k
yes the car did have a rack.. and yes i did fill them in.. i did it the right way tho. i put some tape on the bottom of the holes and put some fiberglass cloth in there till they had been higher then the actual car.. then i sanded them down smooth.. once i get the ***** to go out in the unheated garage to work again, I'll get more pictures for you.. oh and look closely at the second picture.. try to see what I'm getting at with this.. I'll give you a hint.. he has a red nose.. :blueangel:
Sigh my car is a FUC*ing mess. Bondo, body filler, primer, 3 layers of paint. The aircraft stripper is knocking it out pretty well without worrying about the fiberglass.
