K-Kits Comp Cams
Does anyone know if the Xtreme Energy 262H is the same as the XE262
cam? I am looking in the Jegs catalog under K Cam Kits and was curious...

No, the two cams are different. Very close,but different. You can check the specs at http://www.compcams.com

The XE line of cams is the newest technology in cam design. They are dual pattern grinds. This means that there is a different amount of duration and lift between the intake and exaust lobes. The older H design has the same duration and lift on both intake and exaust. While the two cams are close, the XE has a bit more lift for better torque. The XE262 also has a slightly broader power curve. The 260H range is 1200 to 5200rpm while the XE262 range is 1300 to 5600rpm.

The "H" after the 262 simply tells the buyer that it is a hydraulic lifter cam. If you look in Jeg's catalog you will see what he is talking about. :flag

I see what you mean bence, as I look back now, I realize I misread the initial post. I thought he was asking if a diff between the 260H and the XE262. Sorry if my error misled anyone.
