Default vacuum advance

I am changing cams in my 77 L48. I labeled all vacuum hoses when I removed them, except for the vacuum advance hose. Can anyone tell me which vacuum port this was hooked to? Is it the one that is in the top of the thermostat housing? Thank You.

No, it should go to the front of the carb to get your ported vacuum. On the two thermostat ports, one goes to the carb and the other goes to the AIR/Heat riser valve. On your other vacuum switch in the intake, one port goes to the carb and the other goes to the EGR valve.

Allan71, The thermostat vacuum port has 3 ports, should the 3rd port be plugged? Since it is not being used.
Thank You for your help.
