VBP Upper Ball Joint Boot
I just installed lower and upper VBP balljoints. I have everything back together but the upper BJ boots aren't seating correctly. It's falling down the BJ stud. There's about a 3/8" of stud before the boot is stopped by the steering knuckle (spindle assy). By then the boot has lost it's seal at the top.
Please advise.

I think it's the wrong boot. The knuckles are original and it would be hard to imagine the VBP ball joints are wrong since the same BJ part number was used from 63 to 82.
The boot is rather inferior looking. I'll see if VBP has any advice.
