Default Big block questions? help please

Can someone tell how to determine if a 2 bolt has been turned into a 4 bolt?

Can someone tell me when the earliest that chevy used a 512 block in a 1969 L71?

Can someone tell me how to tell if a block has been decked? how to tell if it has been restamped?

and last what were the stock specs that went into a 69 L71 435 hp?

Crank? forged? casting #
Rods? casting # floating or pressed?
Cam? casting or part # specs?

Thanks for yor time and help on this.

512 is a 1969 block, either 2 bolt or 4 bolt. 4 bolt blocks were for the L71 solid lifter engines. The only full floating rod engines were the L88`s, ZL1, and 302 Z28 Camaros. All the rest were pressed pins or rods. Camshaft is the same grind as a L72 which is a solid cam near .520 lift both intake and exhaust. The correct crank is forged as are the 11-1 pistons. Red line is naturally with the solid cam at 6500 rpm...

I'd get a really good picture of the engine VIN pad and post it in the C2 and C3 sections.
Use a title that asks for pad validation help.
We love looking at pads...

Look at the treaded passages above the oil filter mount. I fthey are large ports (I believe) 1/4 and 1/2 pipe thread then it was a original 4 bolt block.
My hole sizing is probably wrong.
2 bolt blocks had smaller threaded ports
