windshield frame question
I have a 71 coupe. If I were to buy a replacement windshield frame, what years would interchange? Is a 73 and newer frame different? Thanks a lot.

I just had mine replaced a year ago and I looked at the receipt. All the parts on the invoice say 68-82 for the year so I would think you would be safe with any year. Mine was rusted out real bad and I had the entire thing replaced.

The frames are different but I can't tell you all of the things that are. They will work though. I put a NOS 74 unit in my 68 and there was two holes in it the size of a quarter where the wiper door stops would bolt, easy fix just the point that there is small differeances in them. Good luck with that project, it is a though one to do, just take your time a measure measure and then measure it again and you will be fine.
