The front window roller (which attaches to the window and slides in the vertical track) is broken. Which is the better method to remove the window:
1. Unbolt the window from the horizontal track that is attached to the window. This looks like the logical method but the nuts do not line up with the holes in the inner door frame.
2. Remove the inner door frame.
????

I believe the best way is to take the 2 upper 'stops' out of the top of the tracks and then unbolt the window from the short track (6") that is part of the winding mechanism. You can then pull the window up out of the door.

PS: I just happened to think ...if you're lucky you might be able to get the front of the window high enough to replace the roller without taking the window completely out of the door.
