Default Where do these shields go?

The 68 is going back together nicely but I have 2 inner splash shields that I can't for the life of me figure out where they go. Sorry for no photo but they're part # 33673 in the Corvette America catalog.

I have been under under the car front to back holding the shield to try and find where they go.

I would be most appreciative if someone can point this clueless one in the right direction!

Sounds like the front splash shield. It should mount behind the front wheel at the bottom of the inner fender.

Thank you! That's the one place I didn't check because the car has Hookers on it. I guess they remain as extra parts for now. Thanks again.

Thanks BenUK, the photo of your shields look just like the ones on the floor. I do have an open area there where the sidepipes come out. I'll see if they can be installed without pulling the headers. If not, it won't be a problem as the beast will never be driven on wet roads.

I installed mine with the side pipe headers in place. I would recommend you install them. THey help keep your engine bay clean.

They also give the inner and outer fenders some rigididy (stiffnes).

Being fiberglass, I'd be worried about cracking the fenders or inner wells from flex without running the braces.
