Default Hey 74 Roadster!!

I realy like the wheels on your car. I've seen them at Pep Boys but know nothing about them. Are they American Racing? How was the fit? Could you please give me as much info about them as you can... size, price, fitment? My Rally wheels need so much work that I might as well buy new wheels, and it looks like yours are a winner!! Thanks in advance

Silvr 77,

I believe that 74 roadster has the Eagle Alloy version of the American Racing rims. I have the American Racing version.

AR-136, 15x8, 3.75" backspacing. About 1/8"-1/4" caliper clearance.

I went to the local tire store. Cost me $600 for the rims, chrome lug nuts, Gorilla locks, chrome stems, removing tires from my Ralleys and mounting them on the new rims. I have 255/60R15 BFG Radial T/A's on all 4 corners with no rubbing.

Steve said it correct, I have Eagle Alloys series 117. I think they are the same as the American Racing wheels that Steve has. I got mine online at http://www.customwheel.com when they were listed on their special's page for $430 a set, 4 15x8's polished aluminum with chrome lug nuts, then I bought locking lugs, valvestems and had'em mounted at Discount Tire, total cost with shipping was under $540.00. In a couple years when I begin pulling my car apart, I figure I'll get most of that back when I put'em up for sale. :D

The only thing I'd suggest is get chrome! So much easier to polish than the aluminum! :mad

Hey, my decision was based on printing a color pic of 74 Roadster's car and then going crazy with a yellow highlighter. :jester

Thanks so much guys.. These are the wheels for me. I saw them with a price tag of $108. ea. but I'm sure that means "pricing starts at" bicycle size. I will definitly go for chrome.. cause I realy don't want to go through the repaint or chroming process on my rally's. I do appreciate your response..
