He posted the other day on the poll regarding Bence1333. I think he said the car is getting close to firing up. He has probably just been busy with work. He's still lurking around.
Merlin, how's it going? Have you gotten anything "locked and loaded" on the web site lately?
Glad to hear he is stll working on his project. I go to his homepage about once a week to see if he has any updates. I hope he gets it running soon. I wonder if he solved his brake booster/master cylinder clearence problem yet..... :chevy
Dont think I have ever seen a 70 with cortez silver and blue interior. Tried to hit your link and check it out but it bombed. I would love to see it. Hopefully Merlin will check in. We need more radicalls.
Hey all!! I'm still around, just been insanely busy. I'm heading out there tomorrow to take some more pictures. The injector lines are in, the fuel line plumbing leading up to the inlets should be done by now. The pulleys & idler arms are supposedly all done. He should be working on the ECM by now & we're going to go ahead & get the headers coated shortly. Lots of last minute little details that need to be done. I'll hopefully have more pics posted in the next day or so...
Right now I think we would be dead even in the 1/4 mile. Althought I am in pretty good shape and could probably get the pushing hole shot on you and once my Nike's got traction you are smoke buddy.
At 6'4", 325 pounds - saying you can smoke me ain't saying much. I wasn't built for running. I'm about as slow as they come. I was built to be on the line & knock heads! :) :)
Merlin, you should definitely join the performance registration.
We all wanna see a C3 on top of the HP ranking :D
I´m curious about the 1/4 mile times you´ll be able to achieve....
Hope we´ll see a video about your vette smoking it´s tires all the way down the track :yesnod:
Hey Steve, how's it going? How's that BMW been treating you? Now that you've had a chance to put a few miles on it, are you still as impressed as you were when it was new? Have you had any repairs done on it? I'm wondering because I have a friend that bought one wrecked and plans on putting it back together. Yours is a Z3 isn't it?
Hey Justin! Yup, I still love the car but I find myself hungering for even more power. I really want to get the Vette on the road. My car is an 850. The Z3 is "only" a V-6 (I think). I don't know much about the new Beemers. The 850 is really the only body style they made which I like. I'm about to post a few shots in my next series...
