Timing chain selection/replacement

I've got my engine out of the car and plan to change the bearings, oil pump, and timing chain (Long story). Everything is stock (427/390). So far, I'm planning on Clevite 77s for the bearings and stock for the oil pump. However, I'm still a little bit unsure about the timing chain. Somebody recommended the Cloyes true roller. Will this even work with this stock motor or should I go with the single non-roller type. I'm not looking for super high performance, just something that will work well for my engine.

The true roller is unneeded.
If you want to us it, it will be fine.
If you just use a stock replacement, you will be fine too.
It's your choice.

I have been using a lot of Rollmaster double rollers and LOVE them. They are cheap on Ebay and I am really impressed with them. I think they are from Australia.

The Cloyes chain will fit your motor and will do the same job as the factory chain and gears did. A good quality stock replacement chain and gear set will work just fine for your stock motor.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's kind of nice to know that the cheaper part will do just fine.
