Fired up the 427ci small block this evening. Started up right away. It sounds pretty mean. It runs smooth and the idle is lumpy enough to scare off even the seasoned ricer

Anyway I will post a video but it was too late tonight to start revving it up. Also have to the hydroboost brakes working before I can take it for a spin, I am a happy camper !

Question for you though. In Canada, you don't need heater's? What's your secret to staying warm?(And don't say Molson's eh?)

Just have to get the hydro boost brakes sorted out then I can take it for a spin. Gotta work the next couple of days.

I don't drive my Vette if it is cold enough to have the windows up so I don't have a heater.

The Callies crank is 4 inch stroke, the bore diameter is 4.125"


- World Motown 400ci small block, 350 mains with splayed billet caps,
- AFR 227 Eliminators with port matched Vic jr. intake by AFR
- T&D Shaft Rockers, 1.6 ratio, Manley .080" wall pusrods and
- Comp Cam small base circle Endurex solid roller lifters

- Callies DragonSlayer crank, 350 mains, 4 inch stroke
- Eagle stroker rods with ARP 2000 bolts

- CVR mini starter
- Cloyes timing set with encapsulated torrington bearing
- Melling HV oil pump
