Man, that looks great. Too bad you garage is not larger, I could
leave mine there for the winter, and if you got bored, well,,, you know.
I'll have to make sure I don't park next to you at Debert in May. You'll make
mine look bad.
Just kidding, keep up the good work. I see I need to clean some more.
Gee, I grew up with varsol, and nobody in my family went anywhere near an engine part!! :) We used it rather generously as a paint thinner, mostly for brush clean-up. MJ
Gosh, that's clean under there! :) As for the numbers - I'm still gathering them. There's a few different set of #s for each car. Each one had a job # going down the line. These were generally given out in sequence. In '70 they went 1-500 and then repeated. They are not necessarily related to the VIN - though I'm not 100% convinced of that. ;) There is also the build number (last 5 digits of the VIN). There is another number floating around which is found on many of the build sheets. This number is generally equal to the last 3 digits of the Vin + / - 500. You can see examples of all this on the '70 Registry site - click on the logo below, and then Research. There's loads of photos of people's 70s, build sheets and other neat stuff there. ~Juliet
