I am rebuilding the power windows on my 78. I found I was missing one of the stops that bolts to the bottom of the window track. I cannot locate one in any of the vendow books, anybody know where i can find one?
I you can't find it listed then pull the opposite side and go to a fastener/hardware store. (I live in the oil patch and we got lots of 'em for repairing rigs and such!) Get replacement match and you're good!
Hi Eddie,
You're right. I didn't see them.
I wonder about them being noted as 'plastic'? Mine are definitely metal with a little bit of rubber 'SKIN' on one end to stop the window from 'banging' into the stop too hard at the top and bottom of the track.
Nice find!!!!
Regards,
Alan

I saw that too and wondered about it. Not sure what it is talking about, maybe they are talking about the roller being plastic? Mine are metal too.

thats what I am looking for! I had looked a Paragon last night and they "call for price". I will check the other places next week when I get home from the Hurricane call out. I am sitting in Gulfport right now waiting to see where the storm goes.....
