Well that's 2 negatives I've heard about Prothane. Do you have a link for the Energy Suspensions kit?

Energy Suspension has a listing of the bushings they offer on their webpage. You should be able to order them through anyplace like Summit or Jegs (neither of them has much Corvette stuff in their print catalogs, but look at the online versions - they carry a LOT of stuff that isn't in the print catalog).

I chose poly for my front end rebuild. I cannot comment on the
ride, yet. Purchased during a GP front end kit from VanSteel.

I will note that poly doesn't necessarily last forever. I have seen
posts here where people have shown worn poly bushings.
Perhaps they were not kept up (lubricated). That's the good
thing about rubber - install and forget.

ps - I would replace the outer shells. They come out fairly
easily with torch (to expand the bore) and an air hammer.
Look for Lars' writeup on front end rebuild - his technique
with the air hammer/chisel works great.

I carry Energy Suspension Poly. Wasn't happy w/Prothane. A-Arm bushing shells are oversized.

Here's a pic of a poly motor mount. Bad pic but this is why I don't like poly motor mounts.

It may be hard to tell but it's melted. This is also on a NEW BB crate motor.
