Hmmm...what should I say to this....being a relatively new C5 owner??
I don't lease :smash:
I always wave
It's certainly NOT my first 'Vette
I damn sure don't think it looks like a Toyota
I love the FRC bodystyle
It hauls bigtime azz..comfortably and competently
I'm pretty sure it says "CORVETTE" on the back :p:
I really think some folks would change their minds about the C5 if you had a chance to spend a few thousand miles behind the wheel :seeya

Well Put Bill.......Sorry about the BIG BUTT COMMENT...just a personal observation  :jester
These threads have no value whatsoever. The C5 owners on this forum that see these are the enthusisats, and will quite understandably step up to defend themselves. The moron C5 owners out there don't frequent forums like this, so your observations will never get to those that need to hear them.
Any car with a CORVETTE badge on it is special. End of story.
:seeya
I'll agree with Bill on this one.
Although, one could argue that it isn't a REAL Corvette unless you have emblems on the rear such that single letters can fall off so you're driving a COR ETTE or a CORV TE or a ORVETTE etc... :D
Well let me get this thing started then. I wouldn't drive a friggin C5 for anything...... unless they start mass producing that special Z06 with chrome bumpers like Chuck Harmon has. Hey Chuck how about another picture of that beauty.
I popped into the C3 forum, to help my neighbor get his 76 running after 10 years, and I find a pretty tough crowd :D
Geez, some of you need to lighten up just a touch
I have to tell as stated earlier, spend a few thousand miles behind a C5, and it is a pretty well engineered car. I would be surprised if anyone walked away not impressed.
Every group has it's "Toads", I was in the C5 and had a pretty rough C3 sitting opposite of me in the left hand turn lane. It was primered, looked pretty beat, but it was a Vette. When I made my left turn, I purposely got as close as I could and waved, even stopped for a second or two, waving at the guy, he never even acknowledged my existence. :smash:
Don't bash the C3 group over that....
I have yet to get a women to wave whether I am in the C4, or the C5, do I bash women... Hek no.... Just don't bother waving at 'em.. maybe I look like some prevert:lol:
I am looking forward to geting the neighbor's 76 running so i can take it for a drive.
We are not all bad :jester
Yes, most C5 owners are bad. I bought one so I can fight with myself!
Seriously though, I noticed that you are just down the road from me, TSW71 too. Your zip is down around Bernal and 85 isn't it? We are near Snell and 85. Would be great to get together.
