Default Power steering fluid

May seem like a newbie question since I've had my 79 for over 2 years now, but I've never changed the power steering fluid. I changed out every other fluid, but I can't even find where to put the power steering fluid, is it in a weird place or something?

Power steering fluid goes into the power steering pump. If you haven't had a problem with it, and the steering operates just fine, remove the cap and check to see that fluid level is OK. Also, wipe a bit of the fluid on a clean white paper towel and see if the fluid is clear [not cloudy]...regardless of the color of it...and that there are no metallic particles in the fluid. If so, just leave it alone. It is a 'closed' system and doesn't really need changing like hard-working engine oil or transmission fluid.

The pump is under the alt. on the dr. side on my 74 w/ 350. Remove cap ccw to check it.
Use a funnel at add to it. A little at a time. Hope this helps.
