Hello all! New to this forum but I've been on the sidelines for a while. My question is on parts interchangeability. Our project is a 75 coupe w/98K mi, auto, 1 glass & 2 sets of solid T tops. All parts are original, (in family since 84). This will be a daily driver slightly warmed over. The abandoned car is less engine, trans, front brakes, doors, and dash assy. All the glass, windshields, misc interior pieces, and a complete rear differential w/brakes and original rims are still on the car. (looks like a project gone south. Body shop closed down and ended someone's dream). Is it worth having the 80 as a backup car for parts? BTW, its free... just the tow bill.
Make sure you get a CLEAN title with it! It would be a shame to actually spend some money on the thing and have some guy come up waving a title at you!
pick up that free bee..u will be able to use some parts and with the others u canhook-up ur forum brother and sisters..u will be very popular..are u taking orders yet hehe..lol .. :jester
What a way to make frinds...freebees. Only thing, how long does the frindship last? Hmmm..
The 80 would be for parts only. There never was any intention to try to make it road worthy. Ill probably try to sell off the usable parts to help finance upgrades to our TOY.
Thanks all. This site is great and Im sure there will be many more questions as we move foward with this project.
Silver Shark, that Medium Saddle '75 you were referring to is in a garage behind Doctor's Hospital in Perry Twp. I seen it there a year ago, and it's probably still there.
