Default 74 radiator

Radiator has small leak and will need to come out. How difficult will this be?

Get beer.
Pull the hood, pull fan, remove hoses from wtr pump & top hose, take all 6 bolts out of the sides of the radiator support & loosen up the 2 supports on the bottom. remove support bar on center of rad support. pull top of radiator & support as far forward as possible. With the original shroud this will give you JUST barely enough room to pull out the shroud. after that pull rad clamps, and pull the rad. This is much, much easier with another person to help lift the rad. It is a straightforward job, just a pita with the original shroud.

That is the proper procedure. People try various shotcuts and then claim there is no way to get the rad out without cutting the shroud in half.

I think it's a good idea to tape a piece of cardboard to each side of the core to protect the fins. If you do this the radiator will come out without touching anything, if you don't Murphy will see to it that you hit the core against something.
