Default Compression Ratio

Can someone calculate the static compression ratio of my engine? Here is some info on my engine.

350ci +.060.
L-82 style forged pistons +.060
Deck Height: 0.00
Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads
Combustion Chamber Volume: 64cc

Not sure of the piston volume from the bottom to the top of the cylinder.

I'm thinking my static is 10.00:1 or more due to the increased bore of the cylinders and the 64cc heads. I don't know how to use the calculators on the websites. I would appreciate if someone would do so. Thanks in advance.

To have zero deck height you would have had to had the block decked, is that really what you have. Typically a stock deck height is .025", that is the top of the piston is .025" below the deck. Also what head gasket are you using? What is the piston P/N, are they the direct L-82 flat top replacements?

I would bet you are over 10 - 1 as well but more info is needed to calculate the ratio. Valve relief cc info, head gasket bore and compressed thickness, etc.

The pistons are TRW #L2417 forged flattop with a single trough valve relief w/floating pins (.060 oversize). The head gaskets are Fel-Pro #20003. As far as the deck height goes, you are probably right. I will have to look at the engine spec sheet which is part of a packet about everything about my model year I got from GM a few years ago. I am pulling this off the top of my head, if i'm wrong, I will get the correct part numbers. The pistons are direct TRW replacements though. I hope this will help.

I made some assumptions:
.039" gaskets
.025" deck
-5cc trough

I come up with 9.9:1

My TRW-FM-SP book says L2417F60 = 1.560" cd, -3.4cc dv

add ABOUT 1.7cc to volume for chamfer & land

assume stock uncut deck ~ 9.025" and typical comp gasket ~ 9cc ... scr ABOUT 9.85:1

You might as well call it ten to one
