When I had the local shop install my 383 stroker in my 82 Vette, they mentioned that the windshield wiper motor was getting unusually hot. I never noticed this before they installed the engine, but I don't think I ever put my hand on it to check. They cleaned up a lot of the wires under the hood and got rid of the computer, so it could have been something they did. Even with the car off and the key out of the ignition, the wiper motor gets extremely hot after awhile. I had to disconnect the wiring to the wiper motor. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

They put the14 black ground wire down at the starter on the positive terminal of the solenoid.
Thanks Dwncchs and GlockGuy for the replies. Admittedly I am kind of new to Corvettes and restoring vehicles, so I didn't quite understand what you meant. Can you please explain it a little more. Thank you,
