BB, Need Help On Hood Clearance
Ok this is what I have,
Stock intake, stock carb, stock air cleaner = 8" from bottom of intake to the top point of the air cleaner..
The new setup is an edelbrock torkerII intake and carb and a drop base 14" air cleaner from K&N and it totals 9 1/4 inches, will this fit under the stock hood??? :( :(

K&N makes a 13.5" x 2 5/8". Looks a little funky in a 14" aircleaner, but that's what I used. K&N does not make a 14x2 5/8". I think they make a 14x 2.75 that might fit, but I can't say for sure. They also make a 14x2.5.
