Is this just an unbolt/bolt on deal?

Its no big deal. Remove the fan/ radiator and shroud. Unbolt 3 bolts on each side thru the wheel wells and 2 bolt from beneath the front crossmember. Support lifts out easily. Keep track of any shims.

(I have an non-AC car...there have been posts about an inaccesible bolt on AC cars covered by a fiberglass cover. If this is the case in your car, you can do a search of the forum for details on how to handle this.)

If you take the hood off you can take rad, shroud and support out in 1 piece.

Sounds harder but on my 75 it made it sooooooo much easier.

Good luck!!

Fairly easy with hood removed. As everyone else mentioned comes out in one piece.

Let me know if you need a hand.

I have heard that removing the rad support makes pulling/replacing the engine much easier. Does everyone think that it is worth it?

I replaced radiator and support on my 76.One piece at a time but after reading the threads about this hear it is easier to put radiator and support in as one unit.Pita the other way.

Default rad support

I wouldnt leave rad in support it makes it way to heavy to lift out of car unless you have help and the chance of buggering up your rad and dont forget all those seals around everything around rad and on top of support all seals are needed to make air go through rad so it can cool properly and hood off does maske it easier IMO
