Default 80 trans swap
Has anyone put an overdrive trans in an 80 model? if so what was it and how hard is it to do? Also were there any mods required to do this?

2004R and 700R4....do a search and prepare to wade through loads of info.

i put a 200r4 in my 80 not to hard did it in my garage on jack stands ,if you know somebody with a lift it could be done in a few hours with the 200r4 you dont have to cut the drive shaft got my trans from bowtie overdrives
